a place to grow

Imagine a school whose classroom is the community, where a learner-centered, project-based approach nurtures each individual child within the context of  partnership between parents, teachers, students, and community members. Community Charter School is a no-cost, public charter school serving grades K-5 in Charlotte’s historic Cherry neighborhood. Students learn in multi-grade classrooms (K-1, 2-3 or 4-5) where each individual can learn at their own pace. With two full time art teachers, CCS integrates studio and performing arts into a standards-based curriculum to provide our students with a rich environment that is truly a place to grow.

School Information Sessions

Community Charter School will be conducting information sessions for the upcoming year the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  There will be a 10am session at the school for each date.  During the session you will learn about the school, receive information, take a tour, and be able to ask questions.  Please RSVP to info@charlottecommunitycharter.com .
